Wetaskiwin Victim Services annual Charity Checkstop happens November 25th in the Wetaskiwin Walmart parking lot from 12:30pm until 3:30pm. Donations of cash, toys and non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted throughout the day by volunteers from the RCMP, City By-Law, EMS and others. Santa will also be on hand to bring some Christmas joy!
The Augustana Vikings Athletic teams will once again collecting new, unwrapped toys for the "Vikes for Tykes" Christmas campaign. During all Vikings games throughout November and December, please bring a new toy to the games and help make sure each child in the Camrose area has a toy or two under the tree on Christmas Day.
The Canada 150 Committe is looking for volunteers for the Light Up the Night, New Years Eve Event. The evening will feature an outdoor light display, Much Music Video Dance, Bon Fire, free swimming and much more. The Round Hill Elks are hosting their Annual Turkey Bingo on Fridayy, November 24th at the Round Hill Community Hall. Doors open at 6pm, with the bingo to follow at 7:30pm
The 11th Annual Camrose Charity Checkstop happens on Saturday, December 2nd on the 48th Avenue Access Road in front of Camrose Registries from noon until 4pm. Donations of new, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and cash will be gratefully accepted.
Saving Grace Animal Shelter in Stettler are hosting a Trivia Night on Friday, November 24th at Hybrid 26 Bar and Restaurant in Red Deer. The tivia contest will begin at 7pm with lots of great prizes to be won. For tickets or more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Camrose Aquatic Centre will be having half price swims on Friday, November 24th, from 1 to 4 pm.
The Annual Grateful Grannies Christmas Craft Market happens on Saturday, November 25th at The Bailey Theatre. From noon until 3pm get some early Christmas shopping done and help a great cause. Proceeds from the Grateful Grannies Christmas Craft Market will go to Grandmother to Grandmother campaign.
The Wetaskiwin Health Foundation is holding their annual Wings and Wheels lottery! There's over $70,000 in prizes like a new Ford Escape or Gas For A Year up for grabs.
